What is a Lace Front Wig?
A lace front wig has a soft, sheer lace panel at the front, with each hair hand-tied to create the look of a natural hairline. It blends beautifully into your skin, making it look like the hair is growing straight from your scalp—especially when styled off the face. Compared to older-style hard front wigs, which can have a thick, obvious edge, lace fronts are a total game changer. They’re lightweight, more natural-looking, and so much easier to style without worrying about giving away that you’re wearing a wig. Once you try one, it’s hard to go back!

At Haló, we offer two main cap styles: lace front and glueless lace front. Both are designed with comfort, realism, and ease of wear in mind. We also offer full lace caps by request, but we generally recommend these for very experienced wig wearers, as they require more advanced application and maintenance.

Glueless Lace Front Cap 

Our most beginner-friendly option, designed for secure wear without the need for adhesive.

Reinforced ear tabs for structure and security

Combs (optional) sewn into the interior for added grip (can be removed if preferred)

This cap is ideal for everyday wearers who want a fuss-free, comfortable option that still looks ultra-realistic. You can pop it on and go—no adhesives required! You do also have the option to wear adhesives if you prefer or you can also try a wig grip band.

 

Lace Front Cap

This is our classic lace front cap with built-in security and structure.

Flat wefts at the back for breathability and lightweight wear

3 combs situated throughout the cap for added hold (can be removed)

Adjustable elastic band to help keep the wig snug and secure

This option is great for those who want the look of a lace front with a more traditional construction. It’s lightweight, comfy, and easy to wear—especially if you’re already familiar with wigs. However, this cap is definitely an option for beginners too with a little bit of education and practice! Just keep in mind, you will need to use adhesive with these caps to wear them.

 

Full Lace Cap (available by request)

Full lace wigs are constructed entirely from lace, meaning you can part and style them freely anywhere on the head—even into high ponytails or updos.

They offer maximum versatility and realism, but they also require more care, precise application, and maintenance. That’s why we recommend them for experienced wig wearers who are confident with gluing or taping their wigs down.
